Storage and Maintenance

• Store squeegees flat during warehousing, with rolls positioned evenly.

• After unwinding a full roll, allow the squeegee blade to rest for 24 hours to fully flatten before use.

• When storing squeegees with handles attached, position the blade upward without contact to any objects.

• Store squeegees in a dry environment at 20–25°C, away from ink, as they absorb moisture and solvents from the air.

• Squeegees or handles with ink residue should not be stored overnight.

• Do not soak squeegees in solvents for extended periods. While some squeegees resist multiple solvents, prolonged immersion may cause temporary deformation and loss of elasticity.

• Rinse squeegees immediately after use to prevent ink from drying on the blade. Ensure no ink residue remains on the handle or blade after cleaning, as residual ink will cause streaks during subsequent printing.

• Clean squeegees with a soft cloth, always following the direction of the blade. Cleaning against the grain may damage the printing edge.

Precautions

The printing edge of the squeegee, frequently rubbing against the screen, will eventually become damaged or deformed. Using a grinding machine can restore the edge to sharpness. When grinding the squeegee, note the following points:

• Use a finer grinding wheel to minimize material loss during grinding, ensuring the edge remains clean without contamination or melting. Keep the wheel rotation speed low.

• When rapid removal of a large amount of squeegee material is required, a coarse grinding wheel may be used.

• If only smoothing the squeegee is needed, very fine sandpaper is sufficient.

• When trimming off a section of the squeegee with a cutting knife and subsequent regrinding is necessary, ensure the trimmed edge is clean and free of notches.

• Grind the squeegee immediately after printing. For squeegees used in printing, allow 24 hours for complete solvent evaporation before grinding.

• In addition to ensuring straight edges, maintain consistent free height along the entire length of the squeegee during use.

Transportation & Storage

Transport in clean trucks. Stack no more than five layers per package, securing bottom layers with anti-slip pallets to prevent deformation or tipping.

Store at room temperature. Keep sealed, avoid direct sunlight, and store away from high heat.

Sealed condition warranty period: 12 months.
