KEY-290 Blue Etch Protection Resin is a water-based vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer emulsion.

This product prevents debris splatter after cutting and inhibits crack formation on workpiece surfaces such as lenses, wafers, silicon wafers, metals, and ceramic substrates, thereby improving processing yield rates.

Scope of Application

This product rapidly forms a uniform organic protective film on the surfaces of workpieces such as lenses, wafers, silicon wafers, metals, and ceramic substrates. It promptly dissipates heat, preventing excessive cutting gaps caused by laser thermal energy diffusion. It effectively minimizes post-cutting debris splatter, prevents workpiece cracking, chipping, and surface scratches, thereby enhancing processing yield rates.

Workpiece surfaces remain smooth with no slag residue, improving machining precision. Cut edges are flat and burr-free with narrow gaps, while preventing damage to processing equipment from sparks and fumes. This boosts processing efficiency and reduces equipment and material costs.

Also suitable for producing high-strength, low-water-absorption A2-grade fire-resistant aluminum-plastic composite core materials. It features high tensile strength and low water absorption.

Withstands high-temperature drying without yellowing. Exhibits excellent adhesion to pigments and fillers, resulting in core materials with high peel strength after composite fabrication.

Storage and Transportation

Store in an environment between 5°C and 30°C to prevent the adhesive from freezing. Once frozen, it cannot be used.

Transport using clean trucks. Stack individual packages no higher than five layers, with the bottom layer secured on anti-slip pallets to prevent crushing, deformation, or tipping.

Ensure proper sealing, avoid direct sunlight, and keep away from high heat sources.

Unopened shelf life: 9 months.
