KEY-NO.2 Red Edge Filler is a high-performance sealing compound specifically designed for photoresist films. Its core function is to seal pinholes in photoresist films and gaps between screens and aluminum frames, effectively preventing ink and solvent leakage to ensure stable printing processes. It serves as an essential plate-making aid for various screen printing applications.

Instructions for Use

• Pinhole Filling: Dip a brush into the appropriate amount of edge filler and apply it precisely to the pinholes on the photosensitive film. Allow it to dry naturally.

• Frame Edge Sealing: When used as a frame edge filler, apply the filler evenly along the bonding edge between the screen and aluminum frame using a brush or syringe, ensuring complete gap coverage.

• Open Mesh Area Sealing: For open mesh areas between the image zone and frame edge, apply the filler evenly using a squeegee groove to achieve comprehensive mesh sealing protection.

• Abrasion Resistance Enhancement: After plate making and before printing, apply the edge filler to the traveling edge of the squeegee blade. This significantly improves the screen plate's abrasion resistance and extends its service life.

• Viscosity Adjustment and Removal: If viscosity increases due to solvent evaporation, add an appropriate amount of alcohol to dilute to the desired concentration. Excess edge filler or residues can be removed by wiping with alcohol.

Storage and Transportation

Store at temperatures between 5°C and 20°C. If the adhesive freezes, thawing it before use will not affect its performance.

Transport using clean trucks. Stack individual packages no higher than five layers, securing the bottom layer with anti-slip pallets to prevent crushing, deformation, or tipping.

Ensure proper sealing, avoid direct sunlight, and keep away from high heat sources.

Unopened product has a shelf life of 12 months.
